Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Service

Repeated praise for the owner/host: very welcoming, attentive, helpful and communicative; guests highlighted personalised attention and useful local information, good English.

Location

Generally excellent: many guests noted it is very close to the bus stop, ferry/molo and the lake; a few mentioned it is far from the train station or the area has limited evening options.

Room Quality

Mixed to negative: several guests reported small/tight rooms (typical Japanese-style for 3 cramped), no TV in some rooms, and in one review low shower water pressure.

Amenities

Mixed: on-site restaurant and included breakfast praised, but limited dinner schedule, occasional lack of in-room TV and comments about having to use provided slippers were negatives.

Food and Beverage

Strong positive: multiple guests praised the breakfast (homemade, prepared on the spot) and appreciated meals provided by the host.

Overall Experience

Very positive overall: guests frequently recommend the property for a warm, authentic stay thanks to the host and location by the lake, with minor issues noted about room size or local nightlife.

Experience the charm of Jemsty Inn Hakone Ashinoko, where comfort meets breathtaking natural beauty.

Culinary Delights

Savor delicious meals at our on-site restaurant, complemented by your favorite beverages at the cozy bar/lounge. Each morning, indulge in a complimentary continental breakfast to start your day right.
