Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall and the Museum of Modern Art are all nearby, while Central Park, Times Square, Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal are walkable for many guests. Subway stations around Fifth Avenue/53rd Street, 47–50 Streets Rockefeller Center and 50th Street make onward travel practical. LaGuardia Airport is the nearest major airport, with journey times depending heavily on traffic.

• Rockefeller Center – approx. 0.1–0.2 miles: useful for Top of the Rock, shops, seasonal skating and city views.

April to June and September to early November are usually comfortable for walking around Midtown, Central Park and the Theatre District. December is atmospheric around Rockefeller Center but very busy and often expensive. July and August can be hot and humid, while January and February are colder, with fewer leisure crowds outside major events and holiday weekends.
