Akti Beach Village Resort

The resort occupies a peaceful shoreline position in Chlorakas, north of Paphos and away from the busier harbour district. A coastal path runs beside the property, while restaurants, cafés and shops are found around Chlorakas and the main road between Paphos and Coral Bay. The Tombs of the Kings, Paphos Old Town and Kings Avenue Mall require a short bus, taxi or car journey. Local buses serve the main coastal road, although the walk from the resort includes an uphill section. Paphos Harbour is approximately six kilometres away, and Paphos International Airport is normally reached in around 30 to 35 minutes by road.

• Dimma Beach – approximately 900 metres: This small local coastal area provides an alternative place for shoreline walks and sea views.
• Tombs of the Kings – approximately 4 kilometres: The UNESCO-listed necropolis contains monumental underground tombs cut into the rock during the Hellenistic and Roman periods.
• Paphos Old Town – approximately 4 kilometres: The upper town combines a municipal market, cafés, traditional streets, public art and viewpoints towards the coast.
• Kings Avenue Mall – approximately 4.5 kilometres: The modern shopping centre contains shops, restaurants, a supermarket and indoor entertainment.
• Kato Paphos Archaeological Park – approximately 6 kilometres: The extensive UNESCO site preserves Roman villas, mosaic floors, an odeon and other remains from ancient Nea Paphos.
• Paphos Harbour and Castle – approximately 6.5 kilometres: The waterfront includes boat trips, restaurants, a promenade and a medieval fortress beside the marina.
• Coral Bay – approximately 8 kilometres: This popular sandy bay offers swimming, seasonal water sports and a wider choice of beachside facilities.

• Bring water shoes because the hotel’s sheltered shoreline is pebbly and surrounded by natural rocks.
• Ask reception about current local shuttle times, routes and charges before planning a harbour or town visit.
• Use the coastal bus route for Coral Bay and central Paphos, but allow time to walk uphill to the main road.
• Visit exposed archaeological sites early in the morning during summer because shade is limited and afternoon temperatures are high.
• Hire a car for independent day trips to the Akamas Peninsula, inland villages or attractions outside the coastal bus network.

April to June and September to October usually provide warm conditions for swimming and sightseeing without the strongest summer heat. July and August are hot, dry and busiest, particularly during school holidays. March and November can be quieter, although evenings are cooler and some seasonal services may be reduced. Winter brings more rain, and the property may close seasonally, so operating dates should be confirmed before booking.
