Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Covid

Masks are compulsory at the property for guests without full COVID-19 vaccination

Cleanliness

Rooms reported as quite clean daily with water refilled, though some reviews note outdated carpets and minor maintenance issues in parts of some rooms.

Service

Staff generally helpful and efficient (including generous room supplies and a birthday cake gesture), but some guests reported unfriendly/front-desk staff and impersonal check-in experiences.

Location

Consistently praised: hotel is immediately above/next to metro lines (Line 4 and 14), excellent connectivity and close to amenities; many guests highlighted the superb river/high-rise views and walkable access.

Room Quality

Rooms described as very spacious with great views and large beds, but several mentions of dated furnishings, carpet wear and small maintenance needs in some rooms.

Amenities

Gym considered varied and usable; convenient shops below hotel and an inexpensive airport shuttle available. However, multiple guests noted the pool was closed and laundry is paid, reducing amenity satisfaction.

Luxurious Accommodation and Convenient Location

Eton Hotel in central Shanghai offers a luxurious stay just minutes away from the bustling Lujiazui Financial District. With modern décor and glass wall bathrooms, the rooms provide a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city.
