Sustainability Certifications

Property confirms they are implementing enhanced cleaning measures

Cleanliness

Mostly reported as clean and well-kept in many reviews, but a serious hygiene complaint (hair found in multiple places, stains) lowered the score.

Service

Staff frequently described as friendly and helpful (assistance with children, stroller cleaning, helpful at restaurant), though a few mentions of somewhat businesslike or slightly unfriendly front-desk/individual staff tempered perfect marks.

Location

Consistently praised: beachfront/ocean-view location, balcony sunrise views, immediate beach access and excellent outlook from onsen — standout feature of the property.

Room Quality

Rooms described as spacious, bright, comfortable beds and well-appointed; many guests noted large, comfortable rooms and good balconies with sea views.

Luxurious Spa and Wellness Centre

Indulge in relaxation at REX HOTEL Beppu's spa and wellness centre, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring nearby attractions.

Culinary Delights

Savor authentic Japanese cuisine at the on-site restaurant, offering a delightful culinary experience for guests to enjoy during their stay.
